A dark comedy where every dialog hits the humor button with Coen brother-like precision. The screenplay held the multiple characters all together, making the story a charging dive through the layers of human relationship – full of love and hatred.

I heard David Rackoff on NPR tonight and learned of this film. He is a compelling personality, somewhat remniscent of John Waters, so I decided to check this out. Surprise, the great Vince D’Onofrio (“Full Metal Jacket”, “Law and Order CI”) is a star here, but I suspect that Rackoff might steal the show.

this isn’t the full film. It ends too early, literally right before the BEST part, which makes it an Oscar winning film. This is bullshit

@LesbianVampireLover same here- I was like “Man 21 minutes and this depressing dialog says more than most films that are 4 times as long.”

@subfarm thank you, but that was not the song I meant. I was referring to the harp/symphnonic tune that’s in the background throughout the film.

@ribtin It’s Sam Bisbee, singing a song called “To lys på et bord” by Otto Brandenburg from 1960.
